Samuel received his LLB at the University of Hong Kong and was called to the bar in 2008.  Since commencing private practice Samuel has gained considerable experience in both criminal and civil matters.

In criminal proceedings, Samuel has conducted trials, pleas in mitigation and bail applications in the Magistrates' Court, and acted as junior counsel in criminal trials in the District Court as well as at appellate level.  He also prosecutes on fiat for the Department of Justice.

In civil matters, Samuel focuses upon cases involving general commercial issues, company law, personal injuries, matrimonial matters, land law, probate and administration of trust.  He has conducted civil trials and numerous interlocutory applications in both the High Court and District Court and is experienced in drafting pleadings and other legal documents.

Samuel is also an Accredited General Mediator and has conducted mediation sessions for clients.  He is listed on both the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre’s General Panel of Accredited Mediators and the Hong Kong Bar Association’s List of Mediators.
