13 September 2019 – The Court of First Instance affirmed the convictions of a number of Uber drivers who had each been convicted of a single charge of driving a motor vehicle for the carriage of passengers for hire or reward without a hire car permit, contrary to ss.52(3) of the Road Traffic Ordinance.
