Prior to joining the Bar, Karry worked for several years in the Duty Lawyer Service where she gained extensive experience in handling, analyzing and preparing for the conduct of criminal cases.
Karry is developing a broad practice with an emphasis on criminal and matrimonial law.
As for criminal matters, she practices in all areas of criminal work (both trials and appeals) at all levels of court either as a sole advocate or a led junior counsel. She regularly appears for both the Prosecution and the Defence. She acts and advises in a wide range of matters ranging from road traffic offences, departmental summons, trademark issues, immigrations offences, drugs, violent crime, fraud offences to white-collar crimes.
For civil matters, she has been involved in matrimonial, land dispute, trust and general civil cases. In particular, she is regularly briefed in handling cases involving matrimonial disputes such as divorce and separations, ancillary relief and incidental matters relating to care & custody of children.
She has appeared (both as a junior counsel or as sole advocate) in various levels of courts from Magistrates' Court to the Court of Final Appeal.
She also represented professional clients in regulatory and disciplinary investigations/inquiries i.e. in the Medical Council of Hong Kong.
Karry accepts instructions in all areas of Chambers’ work.
