Mr. Tam was called to the Hong Kong Bar in 2014.  

Mr. Tam’s practice encompasses a broad range of criminal cases, he appears regularly at different levels of courts, including the Magistrate’s Courts, District Court , Court of First Instance, Court of Appeal   as sole advocate.

Mr. Tam also has extensive experience in various disciplinary matters, including:

• Securities and Futures Commission 

• Hong Kong Monetary Authority 

• Estate Agents Authority 

• Chinese Medicine Council of Hong Kong 

• Insurance Authority 

• Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Hong Kong 

• The Hong Kong Federation of Insurers 

• Veterinary Surgeons Board Inquiry, Veterinary Surgeons Board of Hong Kong

Mr. Tam was appointed as Deputy Magistrate from April to July 2022.

Mr. Tam is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
